Turns out, I’d forgotten the gems I already owned. Dani helped me see my pieces with fresh eyes. I remembered how much I used to love fashion.

I had been buying random pieces online—trying to force something that didn’t feel like me. And when it didn’t work? Grumpy. Matronly. Ugh. Out it went.

We donated seven bags (yes, seven!) of clothing to a domestic violence shelter. Talk about turning clutter into a blessing.
